After a very, very, long wait
it’s finally time!
We can finally start up again and move back in front of our beloved speakers to dance, to feel the riddim in our body again!
That is why we are proud to present you the first edition of STEP IT UP!

To start after a tuff and long period without Sessions for everyone, none other than King Alpha, reinforced by Fikir Amlak & Crucial Alphonso, will join the Session and will provide us with the most powerful Riddims & Vocals!

Equipped with incredible skills in the studio, he manages to beautifully portray his own vision of Reggae Dub to the world, while staying true to the musical root and positive message of our beloved music. King Alpha is a breath of fresh air for the entire dubwise scene which he has already shown all over the world.

FIKIR AMLAK (USA)
His name means “Jah love”. In recent years, he has distinguished himself as one of the most creative vocalists in the roots and dub scene. His rhymes alternate with militant verses, falsettos and meditative choruses. His messages are heavily infused with Rastafari inspiration & are strictly positive!

Crucial Alphonso is a reggae dub & steppers producer from Antwerp, Belgium. All of his music is made in the Roots Resolute Studio & is played by soundsystems all over the world like Jah Shaka, King Shiloh, Blackheart Warriors and many more. Pure meditative and militant soundsystem music!

The first edition will be provided by the mighty Bloodhound Soundsystem. During Corona, these men certainly didn’t sit still, by making the unpleasant the useful they have put all their material on point and maybe added some new speakers!

To enter the Session, you will need to present a 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁, which is available via the 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗕𝗘 application.
Alternatively, you can go to www.mijngezondheid.be to download a vaccination certificate or have it sent via regular mail.
For receiving a green code, you need either:
– be fully vaccinated + 2 weeks.
– present a negative PCR test administered no longer than 48 hours before the event date.
– be in possession of a recovery certificate with a validity from 10 days after the date of the first positive PCR test until 180 days after that test.
You will receive a red code, if:
– the vaccination date is too recent (less than 14 days ago).
– the test certificate has expired.
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗨 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (+ Iceland, Norway and Switzerland):
You will need a 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲.
After scanning it will display a RED or GREEN code. You will need your official ID or passport for this procedure!

– Please hold your ID + Covid Safe QR CODE ready upon entry to avoid waiting lines! Nobody likes waiting lines!
*Possibility for Covid-19 Antigen Testing at the Venue*
For all our bredda’s and sista’s without a vaccine, don’t worry!
It will be possible to test yourself at the Venue.
These tests will be offered before entering the building in a specially equipped room and will be performed by a healthcare professional.
The cost of this test will be €15 and the results will be available after only 10 minutes.
We are aware that this also makes partying a bit more expensive, but hope in this way to offer EVERYONE an equal chance to be present at the Session.
ATTENTION:
It will be possible to have yourself tested from 9 pm to 1 am.
So be sure to arrive on time, after 1 a.m. it will only be possible to enter with CST.
